Idi Amin Quotes

A collection of quotes by Idi Amin.

Idi Amin (1925-2003) was a Ugandan military officer and politician. He seized power in a military coup in 1971 and ruled Uganda as the President until 1979. His dictatorship was characterized by widespread human rights abuses, economic mismanagement, and violent persecution of political opponents, ethnic minorities, and perceived threats to his regime. Amin's reign was marked by brutal repression, including the expulsion of Asian Ugandans and the genocide of the Acholi and Lango ethnic groups. After being overthrown, Amin fled to Saudi Arabia, where he lived until his death.
