Imagine the people who believe such things and who are not ashamed to ignore, totally, all the patient findings of thinking minds through all the centuries since the Bible was written. And it is these ignorant people, the most uneducated, the most unimaginative, the most unthinking among us, who would make themselves the guides and leaders of us all; who would force their feeble and childish beliefs on us; who would invade our schools and libraries and homes. I personally resent it bitterly.

Then you, the reader come along. You open the book jacket, and it can be like opening the gates to an unknown city, or opening the lid of a treasure chest. You read the first word and you're off on a journy of exploration and discovery.
Love, love is like the future, you never know what you're gonna get. I've learned to take love like I take life, one step at a time. We need love. Without love, our lives would be nothing, our lives would be as dull as a cardboard box. Love is what makes us strong, when everything else seems to be going wrong. Nothing can stop love from reaching us, not even a broken heart.
