The Bible will keep you from sin, or sin will keep you from the Bible.
No man ever believes that the Bible means what it says: He is always convinced that it says what he means.
Both read the Bible day and night, but thou read black where I read white.
Indeed, the hour is coming when whoever kills you will think he is offering service to God.- John 16:2
Confidence that one's impressions are God-given is no guarantee that this is really so, even when they persist and grow stronger through long seasons of prayer. Bible-based wisdom must judge them.
Life of any real value or substance is not formed during good times merely enjoyed.
The wise men posit questions to which they may not always find immediate answers, but through their reflections God stimulates man in his search for truth - which in the last analysis is a search for God himself.
Life seems to be fashioned and formed best out of the obstacles that seem unbearable.
Living life ONCE is enough...if you live life RIGHT.
Real faith comes when you facing a problem you can't help, you can't change, and you can't work it out

The entire Jesus concept, that human sacrifice should be the substratum of a moral religion of love, strikes me as incongruous. God condemned us and Jesus saved us, and they are actually the same being? Christianity is the idea that you are so abhorrent that God had to kill himself. He had to embody the human form and send himself on a bizarre suicide mission just to revoke the disgustingness of the humans he created. I balk at suggestions that these ideas dictate to the concepts of morality and love.
