I'm part wood nymph. I require mountains and warm, dense patches of moss to thrive.
Global warming isn't a prediction. It is happening.
Keep a cool head and a warm heart.
I really just want to be warm yellow light that pours over everyone I love.
If the world seems cold to you, kindle fires to warm it.
Everything dies eventually. We all know that. People, cities, whole civilizations. Nothing lasts. So if existence was just binary, dead or alive, here or not here, what would be the fucking point in anything? My mom used to say that's why we have memory. And the opposite of memory - hope. So things that are gone can still matter. So we can build off our pasts and make futures.
The science is in. The facts are there that we have created, man has, a self-inflicted wound that man has created through global warming.
His lips soften into a smile that cracks apart my spine. He repeats my name like the word amuses him. Entertains him. Delights him.
Tonight I saw Jesus with the eyes on my face. He looks half lion and half man. But not more like a lion and not more like a man, rather the same, I have never seen anything like the face of Jesus before, 0 one thing but 0 another thing: a lion man! Where did you see Him at? On the surface of my blanket as I lay in bed. He was suddenly drawn onto it, like a sketch, and that same moment I knew He was showing His face to me, finally. Why do you think He did that? I think He thought it was about time.
In four months we could actually have an administration that believes in science.
Every singly lifetime, I'll choose you. Just as you have chosen me. Forever.
I would remind you to notice where the claim of consensus is invoked. Consensus is invoked only in situations where the science is not solid enough. Nobody says the consensus of scientists agrees that E=mc2. Nobody says the consensus is that the sun is 93 million miles away. It would never occur to anyone to speak that way.
It is because I think so much of warm and sensitive hearts, that I would spare them from being wounded.
