Quote by Richard Pryor
Sure, I have friends, plenty of friends, and they all come around wantin' to borrow money. I've always been generous with my friends and family, with money, but selfish with the important stuff like love.
This quote reflects the speaker's realization that they have been generous with material things, such as money, when it comes to their friends and family. However, they have been selfish with matters of the heart, such as love. It suggests that while the speaker may have material abundance, they have held back in building deeper connections and investing emotionally in relationships. The quote highlights the speaker's recognition of the need to reassess their priorities and potentially shift their focus towards giving and receiving love and emotional support.
Since my education, I've done quite untraditional things. There are very few Etonians who went to Rada. And far fewer Etonians - certainly when I was there - went to Cambridge. I don't know whether it's the same now. Most people I knew went to Oxford, because it seemed more of an easy bridge.
