Byron, Lord (1788-1824) was an esteemed British poet and leading figure of the Romantic movement. Born George Gordon Byron on January 22, 1788, in London, England, he grew up in a family of lineage and privilege. At a young age, Byron inherited his great-uncle's title, becoming the sixth Baron Byron.
Known for his captivating lyrical poetry and charismatic personality, Byron gained immense popularity during his lifetime.
