Douglas Dunn is a Scottish poet, editor, and critic, born on October 23, 1942, in Inchinnan, Renfrewshire. Known for his sharp wit, lyrical style, and use of vernacular language, Dunn has made significant contributions to contemporary British poetry. After studying English and Latin at the University of Hull, he began his career as a lecturer in the English department there.
