Galileo Galilei, quoted in M Kli Quotes
A collection of quotes by Galileo Galilei, quoted in M Kli.
Galileo Galilei (1564-1642) was an Italian astronomer, physicist, and mathematician. He made numerous important contributions to the scientific revolution. Galileo is often referred to as the "father of modern observational astronomy." He improved the telescope and used it to observe the moons of Jupiter, sunspots, and the phases of Venus, all of which supported the Copernican heliocentric model of the solar system. His support for this model led him into conflict with the Catholic Church, resulting in his trial and house arrest. Despite these hardships, Galileo's work laid the foundation for modern physics and astronomy.
