Marquis de Condorcet, born as Marie Jean Antoine Nicolas de Caritat, was a prominent French philosopher, mathematician, and political scientist in the 18th century. He was born on September 17, 1743, in Ribemont, France, and displayed exceptional intellectual abilities from an early age.
