He was renowned for his skills as a keyboardist, particularly on the Hammond B-3 organ, and was considered a prodigy from a young age. Preston collaborated with a plethora of iconic musicians, including The Beatles, Ray Charles, and The Rolling Stones. Known as the "Fifth Beatle," he played electric piano on several of their tracks and became the only artist to receive joint billing for a Beatles release.
