Eugène Terre'Blanche was a controversial South African political figure who was born on January 31, 1941, in Ventersdorp, South Africa. He came to prominence as the founder and leader of the far-right Afrikaner Weerstandsbeweging (AWB) or the Afrikaner Resistance Movement.

Terre'Blanche was known for his extreme views and advocacy of white separatism during the apartheid era in South Africa. He strongly believed in preserving Afrikaner culture and identity and opposed the movement towards racial integration and democracy.
