Juan Gris was a Spanish painter and sculptor, born on March 23, 1887, in Madrid. He is considered one of the greatest Cubist artists, alongside Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque. Gris's unique approach to art involved dissecting objects and reassembling them in abstract compositions, exploring the concept of multiple viewpoints. His innovative use of color, subtle shading, and geometrical precision added a distinctive touch to his works. Unfortunately, Gris's career was cut short when he died at the young age of 40 from renal failure on May 11, 1927.
