Julius Boros (1920-1994) was a Hungarian-American professional golfer. He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut and had a successful career in golf, competing on the PGA Tour from 1948 to 1970. Boros won three major championships during his career, including the United States Open in 1952 and 1963, and the PGA Championship in 1968. He was known for his powerful swing and accurate putting. Boros was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1982.
