Kaiser Wilhelm II (1859-1941) was the last German Emperor and King of Prussia, ruling from 1888 until his abdication in 1918. Born in Berlin, Germany, he ascended the throne at the age of 29 following the death of his father, Emperor Frederick III. Known for his fiery temperament and ambitious foreign policies, Wilhelm played a significant role in the events that ultimately led to World War I. His reign witnessed the expansion of German influence as well as numerous domestic reforms.
