Marion Motley was an American professional football player who is best known for breaking the color barrier in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). Born on June 5, 1920, in Leesburg, Georgia, Motley excelled in both football and college basketball. He went on to have a remarkable career as a fullback and linebacker for the Cleveland Browns, where he won four AAFC championships and one NFL championship. Motley's powerful running style and exceptional athleticism made him one of the game's earliest African American stars. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1968.
