Reggie Leach, known as the "Riverton Rifle," is a former professional ice hockey forward. He was born on April 23, 1950, in Riverton, Manitoba, Canada. Leach began his NHL career in 1970 playing for the Boston Bruins before moving on to the California Golden Seals and Philadelphia Flyers. He reached his prime with the Flyers, achieving great success and winning the Stanley Cup in 1975. Known for his lethal shot, Leach became the first player in NHL history to score five goals in a playoff game. He retired in 1983 and was later inducted into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 1993.
