Rodger Ward (1921-2004) was an American racing driver known for his success in the Indianapolis 500. Born in Montana, Ward began his racing career in the 1950s and went on to win the Indy 500 in 1959 and 1962. He is one of only four drivers to win the race back-to-back. Ward's skill and versatility earned him success in both sprint car and championship car racing. He retired from racing in 1966 and later worked as a commentator, continuing to make valuable contributions to the motorsport community.
