Tommy Bond, born Thomas Ross Bond on September 16, 1926, was an American actor who gained fame for his role as "Butch" in the popular "Our Gang" comedy shorts during the 1930s. He appeared in the series from 1932 to 1938, alongside other child actors, such as Jackie Cooper and Mickey Rooney. In these shorts, Bond portrayed a mischief-making bully, which became his signature character.

Following his time in "Our Gang," Bond continued acting in various films throughout the 1940s and 1950s. Notably, he played Jimmy Olsen, the young photographer and sidekick to Superman, in the 1948 film serial "Superman" and its three sequels.
