Quote by Sir Winston Churchill
It is no use saying, 'We are doing our best.' You have got to succeed in doing what is necessary.
This quote suggests that simply putting in effort or proclaiming that one is doing their best is not enough. The quote emphasizes the importance of achieving the necessary outcome, rather than trying or attempting. It signifies that one must go beyond mere intentions and work towards tangible success by taking the required actions, making the quote a reminder to focus on results and actual accomplishments rather than just efforts.
I'd do pretty much anything to get back on stage. I'd like to develop a new musical. I nearly had a heart attack when I heard that they're developing John Waters' Cry-Baby because that is so amazing and super and wonderful and I wish that I could be involved. But it's not the right time and I understand that. But I hear things like that and I get that little tingle in my stomach.
