Guillermo Cabrera Infante Quotes
A collection of quotes by Guillermo Cabrera Infante.
Guillermo Cabrera Infante (1929-2005) was a Cuban writer and film critic. Born in Gibara, Cuba, he studied at the University of Havana and became involved in the literary and cultural scene of Havana during the 1950s. Infante's works often explored themes of Cuban identity and politics, and he is best known for his novel "Three Trapped Tigers" (1965), which was praised for its experimental narrative style. However, due to his opposition to the Cuban government, Infante was forced into exile in 1965 and lived in London until his death. He continued to write and contribute to film criticism during his time in exile.
