J. (Joshua) Reuben Clark Jr. was an American attorney, economist, and government official. He was born on September 1, 1871, in Grantsville, Utah. Clark served as the United States Under Secretary of State from 1930 to 1933 and as the United States Ambassador to Mexico from 1933 to 1939.
