Seneca Quotes
A collection of quotes by Seneca.
Lucius Annaeus Seneca, known as Seneca the Younger, was a prominent Roman Stoic philosopher, statesman, and playwright. Born around 4 BC in Cordoba, Spain, he moved to Rome where he was educated in rhetoric and philosophy. Seneca became a trusted advisor to Emperor Nero, but later fell out of favor and was forced to commit suicide in 65 AD. His philosophical works, including "Letters from a Stoic" and "On the Shortness of Life," continue to be highly regarded for their insights on ethics, happiness, and living a virtuous life.
