I used to believe that people are only born once, but now I feel I have been reborn, like I was given a new life. I see myself as a child, full of energy and hope.
I feel obligated to point out, though, that I have always been a sucker for ideas I find aesthetically pleasing. The part of the brain most affected by early stress is the prefrontal cortex, which is critical in self-regulatory activities of all kinds, both emotional and cognitive. And that has a direct effect on their performance in school.
